  • How many employees work for your current company?
  • How many of them do you oversee/support on a daily basis?
  • How much money comes out of your paycheck for benefits?
  • How costly and long is your commute?
  • Have you discussed your discontent with your manager?
  • What software packages are you proficient/familiar with?
  • What is your ideal compensation package?
  • What makes you a valuable employee?


  • Describe a specific project you planned from start to finish.
  • How did you arrive at your decision?
  • What was the outcome?
  • What would you do differently if you had to do it over again?
  • Describe the biggest decision you’ve had to make.
  • What problems did you encounter?
  • How did you handle them?
  • What was the outcome?


  • Tell me about your proudest accomplishment(s).
  • What do you like most about your job?
  • What do you like least about it?
  • What is your most important career goal?
  • Where do you see yourself in 2 to 5 years?
  • If a superior wrote a reference about you, how would it read?
  • What would you say you would like to improve about yourself?
