Letter from the CEO
A personal message from Jarrod Daniel, CEO of The Daniel Group
My dad (Bill Daniel) had been in the business for about 25 years when he called me to join him. That was back in 1994. I had finished playing baseball, fresh out of college and was looking forward to a new career.
1994 was the year we started Dan Temps Incorporated. After 14 years of growth, we placed everything under what is known today as The Daniel Group to better reflect the level of professional expertise we bring to our clients.
I’ve seen the way our industry has evolved, making use of technology that wasn’t available just a few years ago. I’ve watched many competitors come and go. I’ve seen the smart ones succeed during economic downturns and watched the weaker ones make panicked decisions that hurt a lot of employees and employers.
The Daniel Group is strong because our people are strong. It’s really that simple. Our own business is the best role model for making quality placements, and we’ve never forgotten the value of good people. We give individuals the vehicles that will take them where they want to go. There’s no better feeling than to help someone, and we do it every day at The Daniel Group. The only thing that comes close is seeing someone on our staff full of passion. You see it when they place someone they didn’t know a week ago with a company they didn’t know a week ago. They’re making a financial impact in the lives of people, but more importantly, an emotional impact that will resonate for years to come.
It’s not about filling numbers: it’s about fulfilling people. That’s why our company’s growth model is designed to reach one goal: my personal goal, shared by my entire team. We’re going to help one million people find rewarding jobs by the time I retire. We’ve come a long way, but we still have a long way to go.
Whether you’re a company searching for your next superstar or a job candidate looking for a place to shine – welcome. We’ll do all we can to make it happen. You have my word on it.
